Our Staff Alan Rothstein, D.P.M. Dr. Rothstein has been practicing Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Atlanta since 1979. He received his Podiatric medical degree from Temple University in 1976, and performed his surgical residency at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. Dr. Rothstein is certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has also trained in the latest surgical and wound care techniques. Dr. Rothstein is the Medical Director of the Foot Surgery Center, located in Marietta, Georgia. He was Chief of Podiatric Surgery at Kennestone Windy Hill Hospital from 1983 to 1987, and Wellstar Windy Hill Hospital from 1996 to 1999. He is currently serving on the Wellstar Hospital System Ad Hoc Committee on Podiatric Privileges. He has lectured to physician, lay groups, and running clubs, on foot care issues and surgical techniques. He was also asked to be part of, and served on, the medical team treating the athletes of the Centennial Olympic Games, here in Atlanta in 1996. Dr. Rothstein believes in community service, and has been appointed to the Cobb Parks and Recreation and Cultural Affairs Commission in Cobb County, were he serves as chairman. He is an avid runner, and a highly regarded soccer referee who has officiated throughout the Southeastern United States. By combining the latest in medical technology and advances in foot and
